In October 2018, TCOP founder, Grant, volunteered to participate in Playground Ideas and UJI Studios 'Playground Masterclass'. The initiative brought together educators, play advocates, designers and facilitators from across the world to collaborate, design and build a huge new playground at the Headstreams Educational Campus within a remote community in Malur, central India.

The challenge: to work together with a group of strangers, including local tradesmen and volunteers, to design and build a fully customised, unique playground utilising recycled and local materials within just one week. The playground was able to be designed at a significant scale thanks to the donation of a 40ft shipping container and redundant scaffolding by british adventure sports company, Rat Race.
